Susan flew in from Kansas just for these beachy shots….As wonderful as sleep can be, on this particular morning no one got any. Arron wanted to be at the beach before sunrise to catch the early morning light that makes her skin and hair look so clean and fresh. Another spectacular shoot with striking results. I love it!!

There is just something different about the morning light its just so bright, clean and soft. I think its easily the best light of the day, it even beats sunset unless you’re looking for deep saturated colors. I went into this thinking I would use the sun for a nice smooth soft ambient fill exposure and use a off camera SB-900 in a Softbox in real tight just to accentuate and call out the beauty in her face. She has fantastic bone structure and a great profile. Overall I’m very happy with what I got and hope Susan is too.

I love that these look so naturally beautiful; her freckles practically sparkle in every photo and the natural essences of her hair and the beachy atmosphere are absolutely marvelous in combination. The white dress also adds a great focal point, adding to that overall soft, smooth look. Very nice!
